My roommate in college said that she wanted to die young & make a pretty corpse. She died soon after that. Brown hair, brown tan, swimming in brown lake water. A kid was driving a motorboat, saw her & turned. She got sliced up by the motorboat blades. Didn’t make a pretty corpse. Sorry to bring this up.

Mom, I am experiencing the classic annoying illness – a ton of symptoms, almost no real illness at all. No fever. Nothing of import. But, I have a ton of kleenexes available and a ready wastebasket!

Still, I felt well enough to mow and edge both lawns – between blowing my nose – and we moved the “back-patio” table from the front patio to the back. When I stopped because I wasn’t feeling well, it was mostly because I was really tired of working in the yard.

If I die from this, I will be absolutely amazed.

Ah, “To die young as late as possible.” It doesn’t get better than that.

Now, Jean, we have had difficulty with my tongue-in-cheek nature before, lol. I am suspecting that you now know the nature of my insanity, that I always leave breadcrumbs to follow back to reality and they are pointed to by my hyperbole. I don’t care whether I am taken out by a meteor. I simply want to go in a way that I don’t agonize over and is not overly painful to my loved ones. In the sleep is about as good as it gets…
