Well, I managed to get one post in WITH an image and will try again, soon. The one I hand-edited and got in was International Misunderstanding. So, gaelikaa, I’ll get there. It is just a lot of work – and I hate to work!

Do you write directly in HTML? I gave up on my editor after the first month of so. It was too much of a pain and HTML is easy once you take the time to learn it.

I can write in html, but, being fully employed with my own business and things I’d rather do, I find it to be kind of a pain in the butt! Windows Live Writer is really a pretty good blog post generator and, up til now, it has served me well. I wouldn’t be surprised to find that I end by reinstalling it.
Worst case, I can always take the time to write my own html. Friday will be that way in all likelihood, like the last two weeks have been.

I used Windows Live Writer at one stage – it was fine at the beginning, but all of a sudden with an update of Wordpress it all went like your piece above. I eventually uninstalled it as it was more trouble than it was worth for me. If I copy and paste from Word to the blog I get a mile of gobeldygook that has to be removed from html mode. If I must copy and paste nowadays I use Notepad and so far (she whispers) it works.
